EN: The 8th version of the European Certificate Trust List (ECTL) for C-ITS has been released
The Joint Research Centre of the European Commision (EC JRC) released the eight edition of the European Certificate Trust List (ECTL) used in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS).
L0 ECTL v8 contains five new Root CA certificates and one re-keyed Root CA certificate. EC JRC has published an updated version of the related CPOC-WEB Logbook with all the details of this release here: https://cpoc.jrc.ec.europa.eu
Three out of five newly inserted Root Certificates are installations that run on the TeskaLabs SeaCat PKI software for C-ITS. TeskaLabs mediates communication between the C-ITS operators and the EC JRC in matters related to the ECTL and provides the complete agenda associated with these activities.

About C-ITS
Today's over-the-road vehicles are already essentially connected devices. Soon they will communicate not only with each other, but also with road infrastructure. This interaction is an essential element of C-ITS, which will allow road users and transport managers to share information and use it for coordination. These systems significantly improve road safety, traffic flow and driving comfort by helping road users to make informed decisions and adapt them to the traffic situation. They are also necessary for the wider adoption of modern technologies, such as autonomous driving—the so called "Internet of vehicles".

CZ: Byla vydána 8. verze seznamu důvěryhodných kořenových certifikátů ECTL pro C-ITS
Společné výzkumné středisko Evropské komise (EC JRC) uvolnilo již osmé vydání seznamu důvěryhodných kořenových certifikátů (European Certificate Trust List, ECTL) používaných v kooperativních inteligentních transportních systémech (C-ITS).
L0 ECTL v8 obsahuje pět nových kořenových CA certifikátů a jeden překlíčovaný CA certifikát. EC JRC vydalo aktualizovanou verzi souvisejícího CPOC-WEB Logbooku se všemi podrobnostmi tohoto vydání na adrese: https://cpoc.jrc.ec.europa.eu
Tři z pěti nově vložených kořenových certifikátů jsou odbavovány z instalací, které jsou provozovány na software TeskaLabs SeaCat PKI pro C-ITS. TeskaLabs zprostředkovává komunikaci mezi provozovatelem C-ITS a EC JRC ve věcech, které se týkají ECTL a zajišťuje kompletní agendu, která je s tímto vztahem spojena.

O C-ITS
