EN: TeskaLabs delivers cybersecurity for nationwide C-ITS project in Czech Republic
We are pleased to announce that TeskaLabs, together with INTENS Corporation and O2 Czech Republic, has won the tender for a large-scale nationwide project. TeskaLabs will be responsible for the key elements and operation of maintenance, user, and technical support services for Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), the newly emerging national instance.
This national instance will be under the jurisdiction of The Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic (ŘSD) and subordinated to the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. Building on the successes of the C-Roads programme, this is the first large-scale deployment of its kind across the European Union, thus cementing the Czech Republic as a leading adopter of C-ITS technologies.
The security component of the delivery (i.e., C-ITS Security) is based in the TeskaLabs SeaCat PKI product, public key infrastructure security technology. TeskaLabs has been a principal developer of C-ITS security, and the SeaCat PKI product meets all demanding technical and normative requirements for interoperability and security.
About C-ITS
Today's over-the-road vehicles are already essentially connected devices.
Soon they will communicate not only with each other, but also with road infrastructure.
This interaction is an essential element of C-ITS, which will allow road users and transport managers to share information and use it for coordination.
These systems significantly improve road safety, traffic flow and driving comfort by helping road users to make informed decisions and adapt them to the traffic situation.
They are also necessary for the wider adoption of modern technologies, such as autonomous driving—the so called "Internet of vehicles".
TeskaLabs
A Czech-British developer of cybersecurity software products (founded in 2014), TeskaLabs is a major vendor of C-ITS Security, with the largest number of deployments throughout Europe.
For the secure communication of the Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), TeskaLabs supplies its product SeaCat PKI for C-ITS.
SeaCat PKI is a central security component used by many European governments and organisations to manage the security of intelligent transport systems.

CZ: TeskaLabs zajišťuje kybernetickou bezpečnost pro celostátní C-ITS projekt v České republice
S nadšením oznamujeme že společnost TeskaLabs spolu se společností INTENS Corporation a O2 Czech Republic vyhrála výběrové řízení na dodávku a poskytovaní služeb provozu, údržby, uživatelské a technické podpory centrálních prvků kooperativních inteligentních dopravních systémů (C-ITS) pro nově vnikající národní instanci. Tuto národní instanci bude provozovat Ředitelství silnic a dálnic (ŘSD), podřízené Ministerstvu Dopravy České Republiky.
C-ITS Security) je pokryta produktem TeskaLabs SeaCat PKI. Jedná se o technologii infrastruktury veřejného klíče. TeskaLabs se již dlouhodobě věnuje tématu bezpečnosti C-ITS a produkt SeaCat PKI odpovídá všem náročným technickým i normativním požadavkům interoperability a bezpečnosti.
O C-ITS
